Lake Pocotopaug - East Hampton, CT.

Digital Photography - October 2006

As Autumn has always been my favorite season here in New England, with its bright colors and crisp fresh air, I wanted to try and share it with all of you. Below you will find a quote that i hope you enjoy.

"A few days ago I walked along the edge of the lake and was treated to the crunch and rustle of leaves with each step I made. The acoustics of this season are different and all sounds, no matter how hushed, are as crisp as autumn air."

It's beautiful. I love how the horizon fades into the distance, giving it a feel of endlessness, like the water stretches out. The trees add such a gorgeous splash of colour, and I adore autumn. The symmetry with the docks also adds a great quality to it. Wonderful work! :)
